Catholic Women Book Club

Hello Girls!  I made a vlog.  I know, it’s been a while, but I needed a little break yesterday.  I cover this in the video, but here’s one of the many reason I needed a break…Google Analytics.

Here’s a head up for all you bloggers out there.  If you have Google Analytics installed on your blog or website and you want to delete an old account attached to your Google Analytics and you read everything thoroughly and then make the educated decision to press “Delete,”   just be warned that it will, for some unknown reason…delete EVERY ACCOUNT SIGNED UP WITH GOOGLE ANALYTICS.  Every, as in …EVERY.   And, again, for some unknown reason, unless you have Google Adwords…there is nothing, nada, zip, zilch, not a darn thing, you can do to recover the accounts you did not want to delete.

So I drove to McDonald’s parking lot and reminded myself, this is really no big deal in the scheme of life.  I tried to use McDonald’s wi-fi, only I couldn’t.  Don’t ask me why but for some reason I cannot get the laptop to connect to the internet.  So I thought, “Hey, why not use the web-cam on this fancy laptop and make a vlog.”

So let’s discuss Abandonment to Divine Providence  shall we?

Tell us what this quote means to you…

The duties of each moment are the shadows beneath which hides the divine operation.

When you read this quote, what is your mind drawn to?

What treasures of grace lie concealed in these moments filled, apparently, by the most ordinary events.

Oh, how about this quote found on page 7…

Review your life. Is it not composed of innumerable actions of very little importance? Well, God is quite satisfied with these. They are the share that the soul must take in the work of its perfection.

Welcome! I’m Jenny, the administrator of Suscipio and author of The Catholic Child’s Teaching Bible©. I have been married to Chris 20 years, strictly by the grace of God. We have seven precious souls from teen to baby. I hope my personal contribution to Suscipio shows what my life really looks like; It’s messy and beautiful and blessed beyond measure. Sometimes I can be found at Big Family Small Farm or my very neglected personal blog, The Littlest Way.

This was great. I do get up early, but only because it is part of my nature. But….if I don’t take a short rest mid-day, I turn into what I call “Mommy Monster”.

So knowing this, I must “obey the moment”.

I have cut out soooo many things that I thought were important because of what you articulated so very well here.

And going back a bit to say that..!

God Bless Jenny and I really enjoyed this.
